Students benefit when teachers develop the ability to incorporate the resources around them. This means we must also be aware of all possible resources. Resources can range from activities led by students to non instructional resources like films, educational games. It is beneficial for teachers to be able to use their resources judiciously and intentionally to aid in their students' comprehension of the subject matter. Knowing the resources we have at our disposal allows us to identify or develop information that will improve our students' understanding of the subjects being taught as a whole. Resources for students, resources to expand content knowledge and pedagogy, and resources for the classroom make up this component. There are numerous ways to demonstrate this element in the classroom. For instance, you may invite a guest speaker to talk during a history class on a certain era and share their experiences as someone who lived through it. You might find it handy to locate additional worksheets in a math lesson.
