Fig jam is an interactive whiteboard app used for creating digital lesson plans, it is a similar tool to a jam board. Students can input their ideas and the class can also see and relate to those ideas. Fig jam allows one to choose from various templates, stickers, drawing tools, and more. You can add media and post it notes for the class to contribute to. My partner and I chose a bar graph to add as well as washi tape for decoration. Fig jam related to the Danielson Framework for teaching because domain 1, planning and preparation is used when planning and creating an interactive lesson that will engage and actually relay the information to students. Domain 3c, engaging students in learning, students are interacting through YouTube videos, and a dice and an interactive lesson plan which will help them to retain the information being taught and visually understand. Domain 4e, developing and growing professionally, students are learning and growing through the interactive lesson plans and they are learning about comparing different living things through bar graphs. Different ways to use Fig jam as an educator can be brainstorming, gathering ideas, sorting them, organizing those ideas into different sections or spaces, moving your ideas together, and drawing lines to connect these ideas to important ideas.
