I found my love for working with kids through experiences with my church, internships, and athletics. During my time in school, I struggled with dyslexia and fell behind because of school changes. In turn, I did not like school! It wasn't until I found personal relationships with teachers and outlets that I realized the impact one can have on kids through teaching. Teaching allows me to resonate with ALL kids and figure out how they learn and feel loved best. I am passionate about inclusiveness and creating a safe space for the kids who have a more difficult time or simply have had a rougher start to life than most. The song "So Will I" by Hillsong says it best; "Every precious one, a child You died to save, and if You gave Your life to love them so will I."

HI! My name is Angelina Gorman,
I grew up in a small town near lake Huron while attending an even smaller Christian school. I experienced a range of academic teaching styles as well as different personalities amongst the teachers. The highs and lows of my experience in school are what made me want to continue my career in the classroom. I love working with kids and developing an understanding of what makes each of them feel loved and understood. A few things I love are frosted lemonades from Chick-Fil-A, volleyball, the color lavender, and Silver Lake Sand Dunes! |
